Bambu Lab
This guide will walk you through the process of connecting your Bambu Lab printer to LutraCAD software.
Prerequisites
Requirements
- Bambu Lab printer
- LutraCAD software installed
- Printer and computer on the same network
Step 1: Enable LAN Mode
Important
LAN Mode must be enabled on your printer before proceeding. You don't need to enable "LAN Mode Only".
- Navigate to LAN Mode settings on your printer
- Enable LAN Mode
- Write down the following information displayed on screen:
- Access Code
- Printer IP Address

Step 2: Configure LutraCAD
- Open LutraCAD software
- Navigate to: Account > Settings > 3D Printer > Network Printers
- Click on "Add Manual" button
- Select your Bambu Lab printer model from the list
Connection Details
You'll need to enter:
- Printer IP Address (noted from Step 1)
- Access Code (noted from Step 1)
- Click "Connect" to establish the connection
- Fill in desired printer name
- Click on "Save" to complete the setup
Step 3: Verify Connection
When successfully connected, LutraCAD will be able to:
- Upload files directly to the printer
Troubleshooting
If the connection fails:
- Verify that both printer and computer are on the same network
- Double-check the IP address and access code
- Ensure LAN Mode is still enabled
- Try restarting both the printer and LutraCAD
