Bambu Lab

This guide will walk you through the process of connecting your Bambu Lab printer to LutraCAD software.

Prerequisites

Requirements
  • Bambu Lab printer
  • LutraCAD software installed
  • Printer and computer on the same network

Step 1: Enable LAN Mode

Important

LAN Mode must be enabled on your printer before proceeding. You don't need to enable "LAN Mode Only".

  1. Navigate to LAN Mode settings on your printer
  2. Enable LAN Mode
  3. Write down the following information displayed on screen:
    • Access Code
    • Printer IP Address

Step 2: Configure LutraCAD

  1. Open LutraCAD software
  2. Navigate to: Account > Settings > 3D Printer > Network Printers
  3. Click on "Add Manual" button
  4. Select your Bambu Lab printer model from the list
Connection Details

You'll need to enter:

  • Printer IP Address (noted from Step 1)
  • Access Code (noted from Step 1)
  1. Click "Connect" to establish the connection
  2. Fill in desired printer name
  3. Click on "Save" to complete the setup

Step 3: Verify Connection

When successfully connected, LutraCAD will be able to:

  • Upload files directly to the printer
Troubleshooting

If the connection fails:

  1. Verify that both printer and computer are on the same network
  2. Double-check the IP address and access code
  3. Ensure LAN Mode is still enabled
  4. Try restarting both the printer and LutraCAD
